Yes, we do accept new patients. We see patients from newborns to 21 years of age.
Should I come in early if I am a new patient?
Yes, we advise all new patients to arrive at least 15 minutes early due to the first-time registration process. You can save more time by filling out the registration form online or downloading the form before coming to your appointment.
What do I need to bring to my newborn’s first visit?
We ask you to bring your hospital discharge packet, usually a yellow immunization card with a green NJ State newborn screen slip and a hearing test pamphlet. If your baby was in the NICU, please also bring the hospital discharge summary.
What if I don’t have my newborn on my insurance card yet? Will my baby be covered?
We advise all of our new parents to inform your insurance company as soon as your baby is born so that coverage can be obtained. We will use your insurance as the guarantor for the first 30 days.
What if my newborn is not covered under my insurance, has no insurance, or is waiting to be covered by state insurance?
The baby can be seen in the office as a self-pay.
What if I’m going to be late for my appointment?
Please call us ahead of time if you might be running late for your appointment. To ensure that all of our doctor’s schedules run on time, if you’re 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule you for another available time.
